Buyer Transactional with German

We are looking for a dedicated buyer to manage the procurement process from the validation of assigned requisitions to placing orders with suppliers. This role involves close interaction with IT systems, running RfX and quotation evaluations for lower value transactions, and supporting project demands. The buyer will maintain accurate due dates on purchase orders, expedite orders in escalation cases, and resolve quality issues with the supply base. Additionally, the buyer will actively promote continuous improvement by challenging existing processes and procedures to identify and implement valid improvements. For indirect materials, the buyer will work closely with the business to minimize maverick buying and ensure a compliant ordering process.

• Executing order process (incl. RfX for low value transactions)
• Contribute to achieve savings and cost-avoidance targets
• Purchasing administration
• Ensuring data accuracy in systems
• Leading smaller projects (e.g. setting-up eCatalogues)
• Collaboration with internal customers / stakeholders

• Education as a Purchasing Specialist with a Certificate of Competence is an advantage / in training for MCIPS is preferred.
• Commercial degree
• 1–3 years’ experience in a similar position within procurement
• Feeling comfortable within a complex and fast-moving as well as changing environment
• Resilience and endurance in daily business (administration, order & dunning process)
• Experience in handling interactions with suppliers
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, esp. Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Experience in the execution of RfXs as well as quotation evaluations in SAP-MM and the S2P Tool is an advantage
• Proactive attitude
• Good knowledge of English and German (min. B2)
