Chief Accountant

For our client – a company located in Wrocław – we are looking for a candidate for the position of Chief Accountant.

Scope of responsibilities:

• Managing the accounting team.
• Maintaining full accounting documentation in accordance with accounting standards.
• Managing the financial audit process and preparing financial statements.
• Conducting tax and financial analysis.
• Liaising with external institutions and government authorities, preparing reports for the Central Statistical Office (GUS) and the National Bank of Poland (NBP).
• Preparing financial information for management, both periodically and on an ad hoc basis as needed.

Requirements:

• University degree in economics or a related field.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Team management experience.
• Good knowledge of tax law regulations.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical thinking, ability to draw conclusions, communicate effectively, and present results.
• Fluent English.
